Hey everyone — I’m Justin Kehl from northwest Illinois, and one of the trainers here at GRS. In my training series, you’ll be able to follow along step by step as I train dogs from start to finish — from early puppy work all the way to advanced casting work for a finished duck dog. If you’re looking for real talk, simple lessons, and training you can actually relate to, you’re in the right place. Most of my videos are filmed right in my yard, often with my kids helping out, using tools that are easy for anyone to find and use. No confusing jargon. No over complicated methods. Hello everyone, it’s Ace Berry from Aces Retrievers. I wanted to give you a quick overview of my training style and videos. I look for dogs that naturally love to retrieve — drive and drive levels are very important to me. My goal is to make the time with the handler the best part of the dog’s day. My programs focus on American duck hunting, blood trailing/tracking, and quartering/flushing for upland hunters. Rather than showing finished dogs doing drills, my videos take you step-by-step through real problem-solving as we work through challenges together. You’ll see dogs raised at my facility as well as others that returned after going home, giving you a wide range of drives and personalities. My name is Declan Boyle, and I am the owner and trainer behind Tullyah Gundogs in Armagh, Northern Ireland. I have been involved in training, breeding and competing with working labradors for more than 20 years, devloping dogs for both field trial competitions and practical shooting work. Over the years, I have had the priviledge of judging at the highest level as an A Panel Retriever Judge, while also captaining the Irish Team at International Events and Game Fairs. One of the highlights of my career was winning the Irish Retriever Championship in 2017 and 2019, along with the prestigious IGL Retriever Championship in 2019 with my outstanding dog, INT FTCH Miller McDuff "Paddy". At Tullyah Gundogs, my focus has always been on producing intelligent, stylish and dependable retrievers.
