1.Who We Are

This Privacy Policy explains how Ace's Gun Dog Kennels LLC, doing business as Global Retriever Solutions (“GRS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit our websites, create an account, subscribe to our online dog-training platform, watch training videos, communicate with us, or otherwise use our services (collectively, the “Services”).

Controller / business operator

  • Legal entity: Ace's Gun Dog Kennels LLC
  • Trade name / platform: Global Retriever Solutions (GRS)
  • Location: Kiln, Mississippi, United States
  • Phone: +1 228-493-7474
  • Primary public sites: https://www.acesretrievers.com and https://www.globalretrieversolutions.com
  • Privacy contact email: globalrs2024@gmail.com
  • European privacy contact: Declan Boyle · declanboyle123@yahoo.co.uk

We operate a worldwide online subscription service that delivers retriever and gundog training videos, written materials, progress tracking, community or handler support, and related educational content. Because subscribers may live in the United States, the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and other countries, this Policy is written to cover those audiences.

The subscription product itself lives on www.globalretrieversolutions.com. Members sign in on that same site and use a member dashboard. Trainers use a separate trainer dashboard on the same site. There is no separate member portal. www.acesretrievers.com is our kennel and marketing site. Where this Policy treats the two sites differently (especially advertising tools), it says so.

2.Scope

This Policy applies to personal information we collect:

  • Through the GRS website, landing pages, checkout pages, and member or trainer dashboards;
  • When you create an account, subscribe, renew, cancel, or request support;
  • When you watch pre-recorded training videos, complete lessons, upload homework, or use community features;
  • Through emails, phone calls, contact forms, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X, and similar channels we use to market or support the Services;
  • Through cookies and similar technologies used for essential operation, preferences, and privacy-respecting analytics on the GRS site, and through advertising tools that may be used on our kennel/marketing site.

This Policy does not apply to:

  • Third-party websites or apps we do not control (even if we link to them);
  • In-person kennel, board-and-train, puppy, or service-dog programs operated separately from the GRS subscription platform, except where those programs share the same account or contact records;
  • Information about dogs that cannot reasonably identify a person (breed, age, training notes) unless those notes are tied to an identifiable owner.

3.Information We Collect

3.1 Information you provide

  • Identity and contact data: name, email address, phone number, mailing or billing address, country, and similar identifiers.
  • Account data: username, password (stored hashed), profile details, communication preferences, and account settings.
  • Subscription and commercial data: plan type, purchase and renewal history, invoices, credits, cancellations, and support tickets.
  • Payment data: we do not store full payment card numbers. All GRS payments and subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Card details go directly to Stripe. We may receive limited confirmation data such as last four digits, card brand, billing ZIP/postal code, payment status, and transaction ID. Stripe’s privacy policy: https://stripe.com/privacy.
  • Training and dog-related data you choose to share: dog name, breed, age, sex, training goals, problem behaviors, hunting or family use, photos or videos of you or your dog, homework submissions, progress notes, and messages to trainers or handlers.
  • Communications: emails, form submissions, chat or community messages, testimonials, and reviews.
  • Marketing preferences: newsletter sign-ups, ad opt-ins/opt-outs, and contest or waitlist entries.

3.2 Information collected automatically

  • Device and log data: IP address, approximate location derived from IP (city/region/country), browser type, operating system, device identifiers, referring URL, pages viewed, dates and times of access.
  • Usage and learning analytics: videos started or completed, watch time, playback events, lesson progress, quiz or checklist results (if used), feature clicks, and session duration.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: essential session and security cookies, preference cookies (for example language or playback settings), and first-party analytics on the GRS site as described in Section 7 and Section 18.

3.3 Information from third parties

  • Payment processors (transaction success/failure and limited billing metadata);
  • Advertising and analytics partners connected with our kennel/marketing site or off-site social ads (campaign performance and hashed identifiers where permitted);
  • Social platforms if you interact with our pages or click our ads;
  • Email and hosting vendors that process messages or site traffic for us;
  • Other trainers or contractors working under GRS if they add notes to a subscriber file you asked them to review.

3.4 Sensitive information

We do not require government ID numbers, precise GPS, biometric templates, health diagnoses, or financial account numbers beyond what a payment processor needs. If you voluntarily describe a disability, veteran status, or similar information (for example in connection with our service-dog mission), we treat that information as sensitive and use it only for the purpose you provided it.

4.How We Use Personal Information

We use personal information to:

  • Create and maintain your account and authenticate logins;
  • Provide, personalize, and improve the subscription service, video library, and recommended lessons;
  • Process payments through Stripe, prevent fraud, handle refunds and chargebacks, and keep tax and accounting records;
  • Track lesson and video progress so you and (where applicable) a connected trainer can see what you have completed;
  • Send transactional messages: receipts, access credentials, password resets, subscription reminders, service outages, and policy updates;
  • Send marketing communications where permitted (you can unsubscribe from promotional email at any time);
  • Measure advertising and understand which campaigns bring subscribers, including tools that may run on www.acesretrievers.com or on social platforms, subject to your cookie and ad choices;
  • Provide customer support and handler or trainer feedback;
  • Enforce our Terms of Service, protect the security of the platform, and investigate abuse, including shared-password or unauthorized distribution of copyrighted training footage;
  • Comply with law, respond to lawful requests, and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims;
  • Develop new programs (for example a structured puppy curriculum) using aggregated or de-identified insights where possible.

5.Legal Bases (EEA, UK, and Similar Laws)

Where GDPR, UK GDPR, or similar laws apply, we rely on one or more of the following bases:

  • Contract: to create your account, deliver the subscription you purchased, process payment, and provide support.
  • Legitimate interests: to secure the platform, prevent fraud, understand how the library is used, improve content, and (where permitted) conduct limited direct marketing. You may object.
  • Consent: for non-essential cookies on sites where they are used, certain advertising or retargeting on our marketing channels, optional newsletters, and any optional upload of photos or videos used in marketing. You may withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legal obligation: tax, accounting, consumer, and law-enforcement requirements.

6.How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share information as follows:

  • Service providers (processors): hosting (Vercel), member accounts and data (Supabase), video delivery (Mux), payment processing (Stripe), email (Resend), analytics, accounting, and security vendors. They may use data only to perform services for us. Vendor privacy links are listed in Section 18.
  • Trainers and handlers on the GRS platform: trainers only see members connected to them. They do not see the full member list, email addresses, or payment details. A connected trainer may see people they referred (name, photo, and whether they are still subscribed), how many people are enrolled in their own courses, and questions members send them directly. They may also see progress, dog notes, or media you submit in connection with that relationship so they can help you.
  • Community posts: the community area is shared. Anything a member posts there can be seen by other members and trainers.
  • Advertising partners: on our kennel/marketing site and social platforms, Meta/Facebook/Instagram and similar platforms may receive cookie or pixel events and hashed identifiers so we can measure ads and show relevant offers. The GRS subscription site itself does not run Google Analytics, the Meta Pixel, or other ad-tracking pixels. You can limit off-site advertising through platform ad settings and industry opt-outs.
  • Business transfers: if we merge, sell, or reorganize the business, information may transfer to the successor subject to this Policy or equivalent protections.
  • Legal and safety: if required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, or property of GRS, users, dogs in our care, or the public.
  • With your direction: if you ask us to share a testimonial, progress clip, or referral.

We do not allow trainers or vendors to use subscriber lists for their own unrelated marketing.

7.Cookies, Pixels, and Advertising

On www.globalretrieversolutions.com we use cookies and similar technologies for:

  • Essential operation (login session, security, load balancing);
  • Preferences (language, playback settings);
  • First-party analytics through Vercel Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and does not follow people around the internet.

The GRS subscription site does not use Google Analytics, the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, or other advertising pixels. We do not use your training homework videos for advertising targeting.

On www.acesretrievers.com and on social platforms we use to promote puppy, started-dog, obedience, blood-trail, kennel, or subscription offers, we or our partners may use advertising cookies, pixels, or similar tags (including Meta tools) for measurement and remarketing. Where required (for example in the EEA/UK), non-essential cookies load only after you make a choice. You can also control cookies in your browser, use industry opt-outs such as YourAdChoices, and adjust ad settings inside Facebook/Meta, Google, and similar accounts. Blocking cookies may limit some features.

8.Video Viewing and Learning Records

The Services are built around pre-recorded training video. The GRS site does not host live sessions or live recordings. When you stream content we may record that an authenticated account started, paused, completed, or rewatched a lesson, and for how long. That information is used to:

  • Unlock sequential lessons or mark modules complete;
  • Show you (and a connected trainer, if any) your progress;
  • Improve filming, lesson length, and curriculum design;
  • Detect shared-password abuse or unauthorized distribution of copyrighted training footage.

Homework photos or videos you upload remain associated with your account. We do not sell them. We may use anonymized clips for internal trainer education. We will ask for separate written permission before using identifiable footage of you or your dog in public marketing.

9.International Transfers

We are based in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States and possibly other countries where our vendors operate. Those countries may not provide the same legal protections as your home country.

Where GDPR/UK GDPR requires a transfer mechanism, we rely on adequacy decisions where available, Standard Contractual Clauses (or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum), and vendor contractual safeguards. Contact us if you need more detail about a specific vendor transfer.

10.Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described, including:

  • Account and learning records: for the life of the subscription and a reasonable period after cancellation (typically up to 24–36 months) so you can reactivate and so we can resolve disputes;
  • Payment and tax records: as required by U.S. federal and Mississippi law (often 7 years);
  • Support tickets and correspondence: generally 24–36 months after closure;
  • Marketing lists: until you unsubscribe or the list becomes inactive;
  • Security logs: typically 12–24 months unless an incident requires longer;
  • Cookie data: according to each cookie’s lifespan and your choices.

When we no longer need information, we delete or de-identify it. Backup copies may persist for a limited time until overwritten.

11.Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to a small-to-mid-size subscription business, including hashed passwords, HTTPS, access controls for staff and trainers, and vendor due diligence. No online service is perfectly secure. Please use a unique password, enable any multi-factor option we offer, and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized access.

12.Children’s Privacy

The Services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK where required) without verifiable parental consent. If you believe a child provided information, contact us and we will delete it. Parents or guardians who buy a subscription for family use should use an adult account.

13.Your Rights

13.1 Everyone

Depending on your location and our systems, you may request to:

  • Access a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
  • Correct inaccurate information;
  • Delete information, subject to legal retention needs (for example paid invoices);
  • Export certain account data in a portable format;
  • Object to or restrict certain processing;
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
  • Opt out of promotional email (use the unsubscribe link or email us);
  • Opt out of targeted advertising / “sale” or “sharing” as those terms are defined under U.S. state laws (see below).

To exercise rights, email globalrs2024@gmail.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject line and enough detail for us to verify you are the account holder. EEA and UK users may also contact Declan Boyle at declanboyle123@yahoo.co.uk. We may need to confirm identity before fulfilling a request.

13.2 EEA and United Kingdom

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. For the UK this is the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). For the EEA, contact the authority in your member state. We encourage you to contact us or our European privacy contact first so we can try to resolve the issue.

13.3 California and other U.S. state privacy laws

If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, or another U.S. state with a comprehensive privacy law, you may have some or all of the following rights: know/access, correct, delete, portability, opt out of sale/sharing/targeted advertising, limit use of sensitive personal information, and not be discriminated against for exercising rights.

Categories of personal information we collect in the last 12 months generally include: identifiers (name, email, IP); commercial information (subscription history); internet/electronic activity (site and video usage); approximate geolocation (from IP); audiovisual information you upload; and inferences about training interests.

We do not sell personal information for money. We may “share” identifiers and internet activity with advertising platforms for cross-context behavioral advertising in connection with our kennel/marketing site and social campaigns (for example Meta retargeting). The GRS subscription site itself does not run those advertising pixels. You may opt out by emailing us, using any “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link we publish, or sending a recognized opt-out preference signal (such as Global Privacy Control) where we are able to honor it.

Authorized agents may submit requests as allowed by law; we will require proof of authorization and may still verify the consumer directly.

13.4 Canada, Australia, and other regions

Canadian users may request access and correction under applicable federal or provincial law. Australian users may request access and correction under the Australian Privacy Principles. Contact us using the details below.

14.Do-Not-Track

Browsers may send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no consistent industry standard for responding to DNT. We honor legally required opt-out signals as described above and provide cookie and email controls.

15.Third-Party Links and Embedded Content

Lessons may link to or embed YouTube, social posts, maps, or other third-party content. Course videos themselves are delivered by Mux. Those providers collect data under their own policies. Review their policies before interacting with embedded players or off-site links.

16.Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last Updated” date will change, and material changes will be announced by email to the address on your account, by a notice in the member dashboard, or both. Continued use of the Services after the effective date of an update means you accept the revised Policy, except where applicable law requires additional consent.

18.Services and Vendors We Use

18.1 Website and member access

Everything for the subscription product is on one website: https://www.globalretrieversolutions.com. There is no separate portal. Members sign in on the same site and use their own dashboard. Trainers have a separate trainer dashboard.

18.2 Payment processor

All payments and subscriptions go through Stripe. Card details go straight to Stripe, and we never see or store anyone’s full card number. Stripe privacy policy: https://stripe.com/privacy.

18.3 Platforms and analytics

  • Website hosting: Vercel — https://vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy
  • Course platform: custom-built for GRS, not a third-party course or membership platform
  • Member accounts and data: Supabase — https://supabase.com/privacy
  • Course videos: Mux — https://www.mux.com/privacy
  • Emails: Resend — https://resend.com/legal/privacy-policy
  • Analytics on the GRS site: Vercel Web Analytics only. It counts visits without cookies and does not follow people around the internet. There is no Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or other ad tracking on www.globalretrieversolutions.com.

18.4 Live sessions and recordings

The site does not host any live sessions or recordings. All course videos are pre-recorded.

18.5 What trainers can see

Trainers only see members connected to them, never the full member list. That means: people they referred (name, photo, and whether they are still subscribed); how many people are enrolled in their own courses; and questions members send them directly.

Trainers cannot see email addresses, payment details, or anyone outside those groups. The community area is shared, so anything a member posts there can be seen by other members and trainers.
